Your dream job needs a dream resume, and we're here to get you there.

You're about to graduate college with a spanking new degree and a healthy amount of adulting nerves about getting a job, being out on your own (for real this time) and having to be a true adult.

For a second, let's just talk about the first part: getting a job.

You have the degree, you have some work experience, but your resume needs brushing up on.

Here are three things your resume needs after graduation to land that perfect job.

1. Skills Section

Employers want to know what you can do, whether it's soft or hard skills. If you've learned software, different programs, completed certificates or anything like that, include a skills section to show your employer proof you know what you're doing.

2. Work Experience

Everyone knows your work experience needs to be on your resume, but here's what you might not know. For each job you apply for, the wording and arrangement of those experiences should be adjusted. Match words in your resume to keywords in the job listing to help vault you to the top!

3. Well-Roundness

Show your employers that you're not just a stellar programmer or certified ASL teacher, but that you're also great with people, care about the community, etc. Showcase any extracurricular activities, especially ones that highlight people skills, a willingness to serve and be involved with different causes.

With these three tips for your resume, you'll be well on your way to getting yourself that interview. Best of luck!
