Do you ever get tired of cooking the same things over and over? I know I do. After moving to college and not having moms cookin every day, I not only had to learn to cook for myself but also had to either remember my favorite family recipes or I had to find new ones. Then I got married and even more so had to learn creative ways to cook and not have the same menu every week. Me and my husband both like to try new things and get bored easily of the same’ole stuff. (So yes, Pinterest and Facebook recipe finds are my favorite.) However, I still like to experiment, if you will, and add my own personal touch sometimes. A lot of times I fail… but every once in a while, there becomes a new keeper. And this recipe is one of those.

Chicken can be challenging to make. You have to make sure it is thoroughly cooked, but not burnt or dry. There’s nothing worse than dry chicken. BUT this recipe is the exact opposite of dry. It is super juicy and flavorful! *HINT* If you like Chicken and Chick-fil-A sauce, you are going to love this.

Ingredients:

· Chicken breast

· Olive oil

· Chick-fil-A sauce (or Walmart’s knock off version)

· Onion powder

· Garlic powder

· Salt

· Pepper

Instructions:

1. Take each chicken breast and season them with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. **just a LIGHT sprinkle of each, on both sides**

2. Use a Meat tenderizer (a fork or even your hands will work as well)

3. Smother both sides of your chicken breasts in CFA sauce. **Walmart’s “chicken dipping sauce” works just as well and tastes just as good.** (honestly can’t tell a difference AND it is cheaper)

4. Place olive oil in your pan on MED heat then once warm, place the chicken breasts in the pan and cover. Continue to cook on MED heat or lower. Rotate till both sides are evenly cooked and chicken is cooked all the way through.

5. Serve, dip in extra CFA sauce if desired, and ENJOY!!

Chicken gets old at times, but we have honestly not once gotten tired of this recipe! You can use it in many different ways. It can be your main course, on a bed of rice, you can simply use this as a seasoning before you add chicken to any other recipe, shred it and use it like taco meat, or even cut it into cubes and add it to a salad (YUM this one is sooo good!). So easy and so yummy! Definitely worth a try. //MC
